Aviator Shearling and Calvins.

So, I forayed into Target, as always I have a little break so I like to do a little shopping, my style evolves and my wallet takes a beating, but what can you do? Talk to my electronic counting coin bank, currently saved is 24 dollars. HUGE ACHIEVEMENT!


Well anyways, I saw the series of Merona and Xhilaration jackets and coats that were quite gooooorgeous. Especially one with the fur collar looks very Tory Burch meets Givenchy. Here it is here. You can buy it for $69.99.

But I found this baby and I immediately thought isnt it just like that thousands of dollars Burberry Aviator Shearling Jacket. I love it. I tried it on immediately and loved it. I bought it for $49.99. Quite a steal, no?
I initially bought brown but then traveled to another target nearby and got black. Black is so charming.

Look at the details! The "leather" strips on the bottom hem.

It overall. So much opportunities are arising with it.

Has a little moto influence. See the cross hatching?

MY EYES WILL BORE INTO YOU! lol. Bad pic but I love the angle with my ninja pants.



And of course, my new Calvin Klein Bag. Found at Flea Market for 10 bucks.

Good leather, good white fresh color because I never had this color before. I feel very pristine with white. Idk, empowerment and prim I guess.
The tassel on the bag is ridonculous! LOVE IT.

Here is my perfect set for fall, its all that i am so obsessed with right now. Burberry trench made of felt wool with a little leather element to it. Very chic and very edgy.

An inexpensive Marc Jacobs shirt with a purpose. There is always a message, so why not wear it?

Colored Denim is Rag&Bone, they have some nice skinny colored denims which make our fall brighter. Intermix has them, I tried it on the other day, it looks good. But I am going to try Rag&Bone store for a better fit.

Oxfords, especially in suede, such a classic.

A little fur to it by Michael Kors, a nice play on textures.

And Classic Tom Ford shades that tons lighter and looks very european. Try Portuguese.


I believe they are good as separates and together. I just love them.

Finally I got myself one of these bad boys. Not a heavy coat, casually light. My favorite on it is the texture, lightness to be packable and so cool.

Burberry Autumn/ Winter 2011

I love this model runthrough walk photo. So Stunning and beautiful.

Jourdan Dunn closed the show in this fab plaid jacket. I want to mention the details, the ties. Im not sure if Im the only person who went to private school but if you remember that tie you had to wear with this certain tie effect as seen on the jacket below. If not private, then the way you tie your shoes normally. I thought Bailey did such a cool job at that.

This hat was in the Mens I realized. Makes an appearance for the woman too. I love the simplicity of only three hooks on the jacket.

I love the variety of colors used in this collection.

Pic from the finale. Also reminiscent of the mens. Men had rain. Women had snow.

Love that belt on such a simple trench. Burberry can do trenches. I love the color combo in this look. Such a contrast and a great clutch to match it.

More furry friends come to play. Remember that amazing Burberry Fall 2010 aviator and other lovely jackets. They come back to play for Fall 2011. But this one is my favorite.

My favorite plaid, colored hot pink/purple with black. Im not major at all on pink, but in plaids I like. This coat I want. It looks warm too.

And theres.....Burberry in an essence.

Burberry Prorsum Menswear A/W 2011

This was the best well put together show, I commend Christopher Bailey for his work on the menswear line for Burberry. When I heard it was coming on Milan time, I missed it then someone ErichBen graciously put it on youtube, Thanks so much Erich!

And I had to enjoy those 7-8 minutes distraction free. It did happen and im glad it did.

First of all, I loved the tailoring and details put into every look. I loved the double breasted jackets and the slim fitting pants. My ideal man showed in the Burberry Autumn collection for this fall, later on this year. The trench coats I saw were really lovely, I want a piece of this collection myself. Also, I loved some of the close fitting sweaters with the pants that make an immense casual look. What else was lovely was the satchels that the male models were carrying, they were so manly and yet European.

It is European in which, I definitely saw the English, the Spanish, the Russian, the Eastern, the French, and the Italian man all involved in this collection.

I also felt a little Bondness being evoked through the collection. The mysterious man who dresses very very very well and has this aura that pulls you in.

I truly loved this collection and the hats with the white with black blobs was very cute. The matching coat at the end was tasteful along with the plaid long peacoats. The usual Burberry plaid is seen but its not boring, just taken up a notch into new heights.

BUT, that is not all. The ending I never expected with the rain and all the male models in transparent rain coat pieces. The cameras tilt giving a downward view onto the model walking the final run through.

The overall atmosphere was very casual, mysterious, and yet romantic. The rain was a great surprise and touch at the end. It was very beautiful.

Congrats to Christopher Bailey on a great show, I wish I could have been there to see the beauty in person!

Burberry Prorsum Spring 2011 RTW

I always love viewing what Burberry puts out for us to be inspired by or would want to wear.

This year was no different. It may have been a little repetitive but the general idea is never boring.

The military-chic, classic trenches, moto jackets, the edgy girl is the idea.

I always love that sort of look.

The jewel tone pieces, the normal camel or khaki colored pieces, the womans defined waist with belts, and the ruching detailing on the shirts & dresses. Still love it.

Then later into we drift into leopard and some floral patterns.

This makes me want spring and summer to come quickly. <3


My favorite look is this one: Leopard and pants with a variety of spikes and coning.

As I love looking through the burberry fall archives from 2008, 2009, and the newly 2010, I found the great Christopher Bailey's 2010 looks very gorg as always. For someone like me who really can not take much colors and bright looks, this is a shoe in for me. That classic yet aviator-ish look with the military and utlitarian look.

I like the flowing material with a lined cut and finish. The structured looks with aviator jackets, light but not bright colors, the contrast & architectural heights brought to the whole line inspired me to create a look that would be good for the woman who loves structure, classic, edgy, military, yet chic & casual stylish.
