Mellow and a little Sade

Sometimes you have to stop going so many miles and look at the scene that you pass through everyday. Trust me, the appreciation value will be tenfold.

Just like those who walk through Soho so quickly but have you really stopped and walked every corner and admire the architecture and the little art galleries and furniture shops on Wooster St? It truly is so worldly. Dont forget that your environment is also a source of energy and inspiration.
Then get your Jamba Juice with a power shot before or after. Be sure to try the Carribean Passion Smoothie, very very lovely. And very healthy!

To continue my relaxation and see the sights moood here is a little Sade to calm you down after a long work day or long day in general. God knows my Finals are next week, so I am busting on Crystal Castles and Sade to hype and relax, respectively.

Sade - By Your Side (If Your a true Sex and The City Fanatic, tell me which episode this song was in and when was it in the episode?)

Stay true, stay positive. I appreciate you guys a lot. ^.^

"Ispirazione" the Fall/Winter Inspiration story

My fall/ winter woah. I find that I dress better for fall and winter sometimes than summer itself. Its crazy! Well anyway, I love a look this like this:
The sweater with the color, very monotone but the play on textures I want to test this time around. Fuzzy sleeves and then a smooth slick leather/ black mate shine leggings (which I ordered a pair of, and am thinking of two more different ones) with lace ups.

From Rebecca Minkoff Fall 2011. The trench material short jacket with leather sleeves, again play on textures and I love the edgier look.

From United Bamboo Fall 2011. Gorgeous long over coat mixing with the plaid patterning dress and love the hosiery to mix in. Looks very chic and casual cool.

From Devil Wears Prada, Love that look of a crested blazer (its by Chanel), the tweed trim, and the leather leggings with leather boots.

Again mixing!
I love the style of the shirt and crew neck sweatshirt.

My jacket, Duffle/ Toggle Coat is really whimsical and loads of fun to have.

Peter pan collar I love!

The leather sleeved gabardine trench. by Burberry

Anorak trench with a lovely button down and denim. Lace up booties would go nicely with this.

There is so much to be inspired by, taking patterns to mix, textures to play with, different genres and articles of clothing to make it a statement, your statement. The magazine is the helper, but you are the ultimate guide and artform.

New to the family! My Inspiration + Art

Today was a lovely day. Not too hot or never any coolness but I manage. The Mumster and I decided to trek to Filene's Basement and Nordstrom Rack, respectively.

Today I was equipped in my shopping gear, with my new Message bracelets, got them for 1 dollar each, arent they inspirational. You get this feeling when you look at the word on them over and over and you start to take it to heart.

They say: Life, Hope, Strength, and Laugh. All words I try to live by day and day. You could wear 1 -4 at a time. Truly depends on what you feel like. Anyway...

I made them more artistic by putting them on an empty Burberry The Beat bottle.

Any we arrived and saw and never conquered.
The Mumster looked good today: Work it GIRL.

And I: Equipped with my favorite car tee from Fossil store. Also equipped with my Kipling messenger small, Tory Burch Sandals, and Walmart shorts. Chic for cheap.A closer look at my Tory Burch sandals, and the epitome of where I want a tattoo. See the star and moon?

The face of an indifferent 18 years 11 months year old.

More good news today, I recently have decided on getting a tattoo, right on my foot. Star and a moon together with a phrase " Be the wind, not the cloud" (which I have made my own sharpie marker tattoo right on the inside of my fore arm, refer to pics. I feel the need to do so because I like the idea of expression and that freedom knowing that you've done something so cool and beyond means. Rebel with a cause.

Over to Nordstrom Rack....... Lots of goodies!
the real good news is...I have added a new Rebecca Minkoff to my family of Minkoffs. I have that Kindle Case right? Well now.......I can add a wallet pouch! :O Its in smokey blue denim color.
Amazing no?

And my new pair of Betsey Johnson Sunglasses. Nordstrom Rack for $20 bucks. Im telling you folks, Nordstrom Rack is the place to be. Retail? You may forget all about that!

Thats all I wanted to say. In addition to myself reading more and more fanfictions. Check out the Harry Potter ones and the Bleach Manga ones. There are some great writers nowadays. So creative. Tmrw, I will have more info on fanfictions and a special funny video in relation to fan art and fanfictions. If you have watched Conan recently, youll know what I mean!

Btw, Comic Con + Anime Festival here in New York City is coming up, im truly excited to see what is new and go to more Panels and talk to more people in the Artist Alley. I may dress up as a bleach captain (still have the old gear!). Look forward to a post on that, my journey to Comic Con series. Coming up!

Get em! Inspiration Tuesday

Have been reading a lot of other people's blogs lately and I love it all. Sometimes I could get caught up for hours with what everyone else likes and I find that some people share the same inspirations or style that I do (HOW NEAT!)

Like one blogger I miss for sure. The Catorialist. The person behind it was so hilarious and has not posted since September 2010, so If you see the Fabulous Cat behind all those fashion cat followings, let me know!

Well anyways, I am doing a room clean up and major rejuvenation. More goodies less junk how about that! Get rid of some magazines and bringing in antique books from Housing Works (I love your goodies, I NEED EM!)
Well not all antiques though. I still want to keep a very modern yet random room. I cant go totally minimalist yet, I have not gone to simpler times.

But anyway, enough of my many Beeh scribbles, I have found a pretty old but recent photo that embodies such life.

Taylor Warren & Cory Kennedy in Nylon Magazine back in '05 or '06, I believe...dont exactly remember.
It was my first nylon magazine and I still have the photo on my inspiration boards and post on the wall in my room for years now. They are truly amazing. I always follow what Kennedy does but Warren I have a hard time. I love her to death but I gotta know whats the happs.

Well anyway and these other photos, from Project Runway Alums. You all know I love Daniel Vosovic and his NYFW shows recently but I also love Austin Scarlett and Kara Saun

They need to do more. Seriously.

But.........onto to music now. I love Augustana. Their song "Steal Your Heart" has stolen my heart. Have a listen! Reminds me of The Killers in some sorts. I also love Stars and Boulevards., another great song of theirs. I was reading Teen Vogue and they were in my latest issue, not july's issue but I think its my june issue.

Of course, I am love with Madonna, have been following her, well in terms of music and tours. Rejuvenation tour and the Sweet & Sticky Tour!

One of my summer series soundtrack songs has to be:

Madonna - Don'tTell Me!

Dont you find that the cowboys are sexy and not only that but they got the fashions and sickest movements! Wow! Don has still got it. Best part is 3:11

Well anyways, in other news Adele is sick to her throat, forgot what exactly it is but had to cancel her tour dates. I hope she gets better. I love her angelic voice.

Inspiration Sunday, life

"The past cannot be changed.
The future is yet in your power."
- Hugh White

"Hanging By A Moment" by Lifehouse. Sound to my life now. :)

Remember Chanel 2007? Infamous pills and grommets!

Tanya at Chanel 2007. Incredible eyes that you could get lost in. The makeup team that season was incredible. The golden eyes, I would love to achieve that.

Free people.
That sense of togetherness, that we all humbly seek for.

Karlie Kloss and Jourdan Dunn. Great friends ne~

Karlie in Chinese Vogue.

This is totally badass by Stylestalker. I have a dress by them that is wicked but these leggings need a home, in my stuff. And that shirt and motorcycle too, they are welcome :D
I had to post a pic of my favorite "would be" Spike + Buffy forever. Yes, I just recently got the dvd sets and relieved the kick ass girl dramas of Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
And my commentary is the Angel and Buffy thing was strong and good. But this relationship seems to involve more to me.

Getting a wrist tattoo, I know the body is a temple and all of that, but I have been on this and argued for and against it for awhile. Pluses outweight the minuses at this point. This one inspires me. But I would stick to one wrist.

And May 2011. Hilary Rhoda in Burberry Prorsum on the cover of W. Just the right amount skin. Ne?

Later days,
