Its a very lovely Christmas its shaping up to be, though I am not in the mood yet because I felt it snuck up on me, I will. Finals are the highlight event of this week, tomorrow, wednesday and thursday in three hard subjects. I will persevere.

Since I did a list for others before, why not be a little narcissistic and make one for me.

Proenza Schouler Fall 2011 NYFW

I loved this Upcoming Fall's Proenza Schouler collection. If your an ULTIMATE Proenza Schouler fan like I am, you already saw the Pre-Fall. Similar but this takes you right into a subtle print fall. The transition between them is really good.

Every thing was beautiful, playful, very appropriate, and the pixelated prints were right on. The usual Proenza Schouler coolness but much updated. These are my favorite looks from the collection. I love the whole collection.

If I had money and it was available on the department store websites, I might as well put down a few pieces on pre-order. I definitely will invest, great quality and very downtown-uptown chic.

Mirror Mirror on the wall, Is Proenza Schouler the fairest of them all?

To answer that, YES X INFINITY.

I have loved Proenza Schouler ever since they started back in 2002 here in New York City. The two design geniuosos Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough have such personality, creativity, that young hope vibe, and utterly cool feeling that shows within their designs.

Back in 2007, I have had the pleasure of going to a Teen Vogue Meeting with the It Girls about Styles and Denim that we were suprised to know that not only did we get a free pair of Levis and discuss what we liked without being shunned but we would be joining the Fashion University students who are going to listen to Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough discuss their goals, the industry, and all inspirations , interview conducted by the one and only TIM GUNN.

It was madness to get inside,all of us It Girls were bundled together. Haha I got balcony seats, orchestra was filled to the brim. My heart nearly stopped at that time when I realized who walked on stage. It was a total surprise.

As we left, freebies were given and then I left to go to evening dinner with a girl there I met named Annie.


But back to Proenza Schouler, its like everything collection they have done is appropriate for the season and is just plain fashionable, sure you can bundle up in winters but not in utterly repulsive garbs. In the summer, you put your shorts, skirts, and dresses to go have fun. The materials and cutting is also very essential to their brand.

For example, that TIE DYE kills me. Im in still in love with it. I made a D.I.Y. version compliments to PSI I MADE THIS and Jack and Lazaro themselves on Martha Stewart.
(For those who tuned in that day, did you die at the impromptu fashion show and how close stewart was sitting with the guys. Ohhhh my head)

Another PS thing I love is the collab with J-Brand jeans. Once again, I did a D.I.Y. Version, compliments to Nylon for the idea.


Over the years, they have truly expanded their business and attract the young crowd nowadays, like Wang, Lim, Chai, Som, Lang, Malandrino. <---Im telling you Proenza and these other designers are like the top names I hear whenever I walk into Saks or Opening Ceremony. Their lovely bags in store!

Proenza Schouler Epic Continues.....!

Hm today Proenza Schouler revealed their PS1 Patent Material Bag on their website! But first you run into a vivid video which is just so artistic and my style. Very abstract.

It is a model walking in rain while carrying the bag but at the same time, the bag is just floating while raing runs on it. She is walking through a forest/wooded areas throughout the video.

About the same price as the original PS1. I think I want it for Christmas. If it will stay then!) <_<

THE LOVE OF MY LIFE ---PS1

Here is a photo of the Proenza Schouler PS1 cigarette colored satchel in Medium I have.
I carry it every single day. To classes, going out and events planned.

Since this bag first came out like months and months ago, when it was a limited commodity I nearly kicked myself. Then when it was out, it was sold out everywhere. Recently Ive gotten by hands on the bag in suede, i want the leather black one. This one:



Once again I hope to own at least 3 different PS1 bags because they are MAJOR.

Proenza Schouler Bag! PS1 my love you have found me but i havent found you

As everyone knows by now the PS1 bags are up for sale in the store and at the Proenza Schouler website for prices ranges from $895-$4250.

The bag is not a normal flashy bag but looks very very military chic and practical. It is a masculine bag that has a feminine touch to it. I could very well carry it to school with me with all my stuff and books in it. If Only I had some moolah, my dream bag could be in my hands or on my shoulder!

The gorgeous buckle and lovely flaps with a distinguished look for a dignified meeting or a polished errand look. It is so versatile that it could work with almost any color scheme and outfit that one may assemble.


The bag will be mine!~ Definitely not right now but when the time is right and money is in my tweed purse.
