The magic of Alexander Wang continues......

Another thing I love about Alexander Wang is the spring/summer 2011 shoes, now that I look more closely at them!

I like the little spring style in the heels and the height looks pretty good with the helpful platform.

I also love the lacing details and it reminds me of that tough yet chic look of alex wang's style.

Ill definitely buy them when they are available. It would be the first pair of designer shoes that I would pay full price for. <3 Everything is either by someone else or on sale. Full price retail therapy maybe the norm now. ~ Lets just hope the moolah comes in.

Karen Walker Spring 2011 ---NYFW

This is first time in 3 seasons that I have not gone personally to see Karen Walker's new collection. The scheduling was bad. On both parts.

Well Hyoni Kang appeared again!

Various lovely patterns which Karen does best, yellow tones, breezy casual cool clothing, bright oranges, and yellow tones. A really lovely summer vibe!

The only look I did not enjoy was look 27. The skirt was a little weird fitting and the models total look was a prairie queen.

Herve Leger Spring 2011 --- NYFW

It was gorgeous and i love the architectural elements, shapes and forms played with in the collection. Very cohesive!

The variety of cuts was genioso.

It was an array of mostly white dresses (the usual skintastic fit!), yet my favorite was a little pant look as well.

Very classic chic. Reminds me of the ideal behind The Great Gatsby. Which is a wonderful literary piece of art.

Rodarte Spring 2011 --- NYFW

Private affair it was.

It was like a back to award winning basics. ]

Array of patterns, houndstooths, deep earth tones, blues, yellows, westerner looks, southern belle style and lovely pencil skirts as well.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2011 --NYFW

I always love seeing Marc Jacobs do his thing. His new preview of whats to come next spring/summer, which I will welcome with open arms, was gorg!

There is no need for a straightener or iron, its frizzy carefree hair. Tons of fun colors, stripes, brgiht colors, nice belted looks, and breezy looks.

Hot legs and beach-like gear.

Combination of a few decades, so its for all women. :)

Im sorry but I can not help but think of geometric shapes and the 70s.

Y-3 Spring/Summer 2011 --NYFW Day 5

Sorr about the late posting lots more college work came up. woohoo!

Well the one show I enjoyed on the Monday was Y-3. It was sexy yet sporty with deep colored lips. At times it was black.

I liked the casualwear mixed with sportswear. Just throw out the old sweats!

There was definitely some sexy stomach flashes just like in Alex Wang F/W 2011.

I believe this was inspired by a vampire warrior? Haha, just my take on it. Or a zombied student.

Z Spoke by Zac Posen S/S 2011 ---NYFW Day 3

Yesterday Zac Posen showed the Spring 2011 Collection to his second baby, Z Spoke. I love Zac Posen and his clothes normally. The first collection to hit Saks was a classic, refined girl who still loved to play dress-up and have fun with colors.

I suppose he tried to recapture some of that glory but these were some of the outfits I LOVED:

I liked some really good staple pieces and outfits that would sell well and many girls/ladies would love to wear during the Spring/Summer.

Unfortunately, Overall the collection just was not meshing. It was not cohesive. Some pieces did not belong or look right. Thats just my opinion and this is my blog. No?

I usually love Zac. This collection was okay. It was nice but not Amazing, as usual.

Alexander Wang Spring 2011 ---NYFW Day 3

Alexander Wang, who is a genius of the cloth and design, showed yesterday in a Pier location his new Spring/ Summer 2011 collection, which I thought was EPIC.

The picture above was my favorite outfit of them all.

Models donned in clay hair, fresh faces, and some in septum nose rings.

It was a sea of whites, mint, rust, bronze tapes, and cremes. Loved them.

Drappery, asymmetrical, and breathtaking. It was like an artist's canvas were the models.

Some watercolor residue effects on some of the pieces. Loved it.

Definitely can not wait for Spring 2011 to begin.

Lela Rose Spring/ Summer 2011 --NYFW DAY 4

I got up early and went to the Lela Rose show today. I checked in and got my ticket to go into standing. Then I was told there was space in the row to sit.. So I sat in the 4th row. :) Oh how cool.

I saw Christian Siriano there, Linda Fargo from Bergdorf Goodman, Ken Downing from Saks Fifth Avenue, and a few other influentials and icons.

I got the show program and everything about 34 looks in total at Lela Rose, which were inspired by Lima, Peru. The drappery, the architecture, the vibrant colors, mixture of the old and the new, and the textiles of the South American nation inspired this whole collection.

Unforunately, my camera phone was not working well and my Nikon is being repaired. The beauty look at Lela Rose was a messy Side braid, which was chic and lovely lips. It made the show have a princessy, romantic feel.

I definitely could tell the difference between a Milly and a Lela Rose. Milly and Lela Rose is about the femininity of the female power yet Milly is more about the girl essence and focus solely on the ultra feminine girl for example, Blair Waldorf. The encarnation of dresses and on every Gossip Girl episode, she looks very refined, sure of herself, and knows what she wants. That is essentially the Milly girl. Fun yet serious Milly girl. Lela Rose is usually Romantic yet the whole collection does not compare of dresses and endless dresses. The Lela Rose girl is more laid back, looks awesome in whatever she wears. If it be cut, the skin is golden. Okay, both are cultured to many effects yet my babble will go on and on in circles.

The vibe of the show was terrific. If put next to the Alexander Wang show, it was much brighter. The models were very gracious and yet fiesty. The whole show made me feel like I was in Central America but literally.

The caught a glimpse of the shoes, they are to be available for purchase this Spring 2011, as they are the Lela Rose x Payless shoes for this season.

Towards the ending, I ran into a few people and one of them being Linda Fargo, oh my god, my heart nearly stopped.

Well I went outside and entered a contest. So lets see if I win. Then went to the TRESemme' Center for an impromtu photo shoot. This is a bit of a bad picture. It was the first one, I was a little nervous.I was wearing my Vintage find Christian Dior Blazer, Gap Slimline jeans, Vintage Lace-up militia-style boots, Lela Rose dotted top , and Aquamarine striped button up shirt.

At the end of the day, I just had to switch to my alternate shoes which were these:So comfy, yet chic. Michael Kors saves your feet.

Happy STARBUCKS VANILLA FRAPPE.

Jen Kao S/S 2011 - NYFW Day 1

Pic of JK

This collection as I watched it from live stream on milkmade is ethereal from the swirl like graffitti waves on the floor of the models and the sand they walk with gladiator or string style shoes was gorgeous. It had like a desert mirage and ocean meets the mermaids of zombie brides. My interpretation of her inspiration was close enough! Truly! When she came out in the blue pants, she looked adorable!

Flowy pieces for both a day out and night out in the warm and cool times, so I definitely see them selling quite quickly and myself purchasing an item or two.

Loved the earth and nude tones for all skin types and the flowy material and embroidery details on some of the tops and dresses. The splash effect of blues in some tops and dresses. I loved it.z For a person with a little thigh problem, dresses like these I definitely love because I hardly wear dresses, as most of you can tell.

My personal favorite was the white embroidered waist dress.

This one was truly a fantasy, footprints in the sand to last a long time.

I definitely felt the warmth in the clothes from JK and definitely look forward to seeing more from her. :)
