"Ispirazione" the Fall/Winter Inspiration story

My fall/ winter woah. I find that I dress better for fall and winter sometimes than summer itself. Its crazy! Well anyway, I love a look this like this:
The sweater with the color, very monotone but the play on textures I want to test this time around. Fuzzy sleeves and then a smooth slick leather/ black mate shine leggings (which I ordered a pair of, and am thinking of two more different ones) with lace ups.

From Rebecca Minkoff Fall 2011. The trench material short jacket with leather sleeves, again play on textures and I love the edgier look.

From United Bamboo Fall 2011. Gorgeous long over coat mixing with the plaid patterning dress and love the hosiery to mix in. Looks very chic and casual cool.

From Devil Wears Prada, Love that look of a crested blazer (its by Chanel), the tweed trim, and the leather leggings with leather boots.

Again mixing!
I love the style of the shirt and crew neck sweatshirt.

My jacket, Duffle/ Toggle Coat is really whimsical and loads of fun to have.

Peter pan collar I love!

The leather sleeved gabardine trench. by Burberry

Anorak trench with a lovely button down and denim. Lace up booties would go nicely with this.

There is so much to be inspired by, taking patterns to mix, textures to play with, different genres and articles of clothing to make it a statement, your statement. The magazine is the helper, but you are the ultimate guide and artform.

Burberry Autumn/ Winter 2011

I love this model runthrough walk photo. So Stunning and beautiful.

Jourdan Dunn closed the show in this fab plaid jacket. I want to mention the details, the ties. Im not sure if Im the only person who went to private school but if you remember that tie you had to wear with this certain tie effect as seen on the jacket below. If not private, then the way you tie your shoes normally. I thought Bailey did such a cool job at that.

This hat was in the Mens I realized. Makes an appearance for the woman too. I love the simplicity of only three hooks on the jacket.

I love the variety of colors used in this collection.

Pic from the finale. Also reminiscent of the mens. Men had rain. Women had snow.

Love that belt on such a simple trench. Burberry can do trenches. I love the color combo in this look. Such a contrast and a great clutch to match it.

More furry friends come to play. Remember that amazing Burberry Fall 2010 aviator and other lovely jackets. They come back to play for Fall 2011. But this one is my favorite.

My favorite plaid, colored hot pink/purple with black. Im not major at all on pink, but in plaids I like. This coat I want. It looks warm too.

And theres.....Burberry in an essence.

This show was a huge moment for me. An exclusive invite which came in the form of email thanks to Fashion GPS to attend. Unfortunately, I caught a stomachache and try to fight going to see it anyway but when it turned 8pm, the fight was done. I had to go home. I reached Lincoln Center waiting outside for my friend who also got invited to go but then when she came, we both left together. Madness right? I was so pissed off at myself but there are other shows, livestream, and style 360 to enjoy still yeah?

I decided to go winter cozy with fab prints that nobody can deny.

But nonetheless decided to have some fun with my matching scarf from my tunic.

I wrapped my scarf to make a turban. inspiration of one I saw wrapped greatly at the BCBG Max Azria store in Jersey. (Whose show was INCREDIBLE this year.)

Im trying my inner Linda Evangelista. Bear with me.

Tired! Among other things, I ended up view pics from other shows and doing my normal commentary. Culprit - Too much pizza.
My favorite boots.
strike that pose!

All smiles despite my disappointment.

My W invite. Amazing no?
