Shape Get Lean in 4 weeks DVD

So I am reviewing this dvd because i did most of the workouts and I loved it. Hopefully, for you guys you can buy it cheap and instead of paying money for many different things this simple dvd can get you in shape or you can add it into your repetoire!

There are 3 different program on it.

The Cardio KickBoxing workout, the Inverval, and the metabolism booster workout.

All are lead by Yumi Lee and she gives you good instruction on correct form and pacing so you can feel the burn in the right places, and forget the pain in the wrong places.

The cardio kickboxing was basically a series of punches, and some times a series of kicks included. i love her explanation on the form of roundhouse kicks and such.

I believe that if I do this for 3-4 times a week included with other things, i will be good for getting fit!

Happy New Years Resolutions guys!

Fitbook Results!

So I have religiously started the Fitbook Fitlosophy back in August and now its November. So now its been 4 months.

The journey for fitness has been rocky, I have my high-intensity moments like Insanity and Turbo Fire then into Billy Blanks workouts and Bob Harper then into moderate things like everyday walking.

I have been eating really well. I still eat McDonalds but in moderation and when I go I dont really burgers, so I dont have much to worry on whenever I go out to eat. Just try to get in my proteins, fiber, whole grains, and overall goodness in foods.

So, my progress has been good.

My final measurements!

Chest went from 37.5 to 37 inches. Not bad.

Right Upper Arm from 12.75 to 12.5 inches.

Waist from 35.5 to 35 inches.

Right Thigh from 25.5 to 25

Weight from 183 to 178 (5 pounds gone!)

Body Fat Dropped 3%.

I am really excited. About to go to target, since they now carry it and buy one to continue my journey.

My endurance is better since recently I have taken to running. Such an exhilarating feeling.

The creator behind Fitbook, Angela, I love you!

The ING NYC Marathon is upon us!

So all over the world and especially NYC here is in uproar and excitement and all loads of anticipation for the Marathon to come tomorrow. 26.2 miles or BUST!

I commend the NYRR association so much for their endless work and love for the fitness and soulful art of running and run/walking. They amaze me every year by their PR getting everything out into the blogosphere, television, and many advertisements that are so inspiring. They now have an Apple Itunes application that those running can almost track whether their friends are! AMAZING!

So I love that the marathon is here. The Fitness Expo held annually at Javitz Center is so explosive with people and potential racers picking up their gears and getting ready for carb heavy dinners for tomorrow!

With the expansion over the 5 boroughs all that training is now coming upon us.

I wish I could run it. Maybe next year or the year after that.

I wish everyone tomorrow luck and I will be watching. Maybe Ill get to Mile 12 or mile 13 and watch~

WORKOUT: Piloxing

So I recently, about 4 days, took the plunge and ordered yet another fitness workout. This time its Piloxing, a favorite of Kirsten Dunst, Hilary Duff, and Vanessa Hudgens.

The sleek. sexy. powerful mantra goes a long way as you go through this 1 hour workout. I got the DVD today and immediately decided to give it a try. You put on the weighted gloves. 1 lb on each hand, you think that's minuscule but its the same build-up as in Exhale Core fusion, lighter weights goes along way. The burn is immense in this.

Every movement works your core, lower body, and arms. Its a total-body workout basically. A perfect blend of Pilates, Boxing, and a little movement of dance. Cardio, toning, and lengthening. All elements of a good workout.

You go from Pilates Sexy to Boxing Power Ups. Basically in intervals.
Now that combo is really good.
I burned about 550 calories in 1 hr. Not bad.
Viveca Jensen the creator says you can burn 500-800 an hour. So I guess im on track.

You an order it on Piloxing's Website here. And now she came out with a new dvd Express Toning, for a 30 minute tone.

Perfumes and Dreams.

So, I have come back but not completely. Still in a drama -coma. Thats how addicting they are and looking into prospective projects to do.

But for the question before on which drama Ill recommend.
Japanese Dramas : IWGP (Ikebukuro West Gate Park), Hana Kimi, Hana Yori Dango, Proposal Daisakusen, Proposal Daisakusen 2, and Hana Yori Dango 2 (can also see Shibuya 15 for fun)
Korean Dramas : Style, Hateful but Once Again, and Baby Faced Beauty
Taiwanese Dramas, It Started with a Kiss, They Kiss Again, Love and Bread, and Meteor Garden.

All are good dramas, there are tons more to recommend but if you have not watched dramas, you gotta see those first!

But into perfumes, I just recently purchased these three.

The Prada Infusion Iris.
The Chanel No.5
The Burberry Beat

All are fantastic perfumes and I have had them before but ran out. All are classic, bold, and fresh at the same time.
These are not the only perfumes I have. I have tons and tons because I like different scents. Some I like with a little Sandalwood and some to collect.

Dont you ever get that feeling like you need a certain perfume for a certain day? Thats how it goes for me. Somedays I dont care, or another day I will need that Anna sui dolly for the ultimate smell of fresh.

Well after the sweat sessions with Insanity, Turbo Fire, and Pt247, I will need perfumes and my lovely bath and body works sprays to do the trick.

Whoever is on Insanity, dont you wish you were finished already?! Im on week 3 and kinda dying but digging deep as much I can without killing my knees.

Btw, did anyone go to the July 4th sales. Tory Burch, Barneys, Saks, Michael Kors, basically alot of places had it. Tell me what goodies you picked up!

I didnt get a chance to go but got a lovely Dooney &Bourke bag at Marshalls. Shall post pics next time.

Crunch up your Life : PS

So, last week I had the amazing opportunity to try out Crunch gym and not only was it just one visit, I think I might the Student Membership and join. I have been struggling with gyms. The rip-off Lucille Roberts has done pissed me off. Lucille Roberts, who I am still a member with, still charges me 25 bucks a month to use all usa locations with the exception of some (the hell?) and then when I wanted to put a hold when I wasnt going, they would not let me. Some of their machines are old, broken down, the classes I loved (cant complain about that) and you have to sign up for machines and people hold these machines with towels, books, sweaty tshirts put on them and management does nothing about it. Disgusting.

Anyway, I went to Crunch in Park Slope on Flatbush Avenue, and met with General Manager Tom Polizzi, such a nice guy and is really running a great establishment, everything is kept in order, the staff is otherwise friendly, and the personal trainers were cool too (one of them passing a women not knowing how to use a machine and helped her and gave suggestions) A+ in my book.

Sir Tom and I toured and toured and toured. I loved the gym. The women's locker room with showers, sauna, high scale lockers, clean bathrooms, and good products to use.

When you immediately come in, there is towel service. Then you go upstairs, where the whole gym upstairs takes up the whole block. Variety of machines for Arms, Abs, Legs, Shoulders, Chest.

Variety of Stair machines, cardio machines, such as the Treadmill and Elliptical. (Also the first floor when you first enter, has that too). Such good technology.

Then there is the Spinning Studio. One of my new things to try, Spinning. I already ride my bike but this looks like a good indoor challenge.

The group fitness/individual play area when there is no class (freestyle baby!)

And in depth towards the back of the gym, heavier musclehead weights.

Nobody in the gym watches you per se. Everyone does their own thing, and I like that. NO JUDGEMENTS.

Aerial Yoga. I gotta try this there.

And best of all, no panting muscle heads like at Ballys Fitness (oh yeah I said it). The only thing I liked at Ballys was the manager, the juice bar and variety of cardio machines. Machines were broken down easily and such. These are all what I pick up while being there for a 2 week pass (absolutely free).

I love Crunch and am going to join for a few months. Just a few. I think my bank can take this one, best to join before June for my student discount, no initiation fee and God knows that is a killer.

What a blast in a bag!

So its summer nearing by and classes are over. I only have three finals to deal with, so studying, relaxing, fitness, studying, and more studying. I know I can do it. :) *exudes confidence*

Well anyway, this past week, I went on a little tour through my favorite stomping grounds.

My OC cd. I really do miss that show. I was playing songs from the cd thats downloaded into my iPod during the journey.*

At my college, these figurines and various people there made out of clay. Neato!

Falling petals, and when you walk on them its beautiful no? Feel like your a princess ascending to your throne.

The view of Emmons Ave in Brooklyn. I love it there. Tons of good food, ways to go fishing, parties, relaxing, and seeing friends.

One of the restaurants at Shore Pkwy/ and Emmons.

My outfit for the day. Keepin it simple.
Coat: Navy Blue Chill by H&M
T-shirt: Naruto Anime
Jeans: GAP Premiums
Bag: The LV Florals.
Shoes: Street walker leopards

Then stopping by my aunt to enjoy some frozen icey and park time with my cousins.

All in all, I had a great time. Tons of fun and most of all, I was relaxed.

But as for my fitness foray, Im dedicated to trying most of the new workouts (to me) and pre-existing ones to get to do my new challenge, which I will blog about all of my fitness and lifestyle adventures more often called............... "THE ULTIMATE FITNESS SUMMER"
So stay tuned.

The first workout I may try is the Refine Method. But stay tuned for my posting on Crunch Gym and my amazing time there.

Lifestyle : Nalini Method, my long lost love

So, I heard about Nalini Method from a couple of blogger friends who sometimes attends classes there and raves about the personalized attention and such a good workout in just an hour.

Myself, sometimes not a fan of the countless hours at the gym or bored at home in a room working out decided to give it a go. I have always wanted to go and try new workouts, so this May it is a pay what you can, donations to the teachers who are teaching for free this month. I hurried and got some spots locked down for this month.

At first I knew Nalini was at West 68th then combined classes at Pure Yoga and then now at their beautiful new home at the official address: 248 West 60th street, which is embedded into my head dont ya know!

I realized by taking the train. John Jay, my sister school is up here, yep, im in the CUNY system! whoopie! And I passed the Mandarin Oriental and all. While rushing to go to classes on time. imagine class at 6:45pm and just getting off at 59 columbus at 6:30 Haha maniac running down the street.

I digress..anyway..

When you first walk in, you are greeted by Rupa herself and her words. :)

Very informative and inspiring.

The decor is very beautiful. Spacious, bluish and whites, very simple and yet its feels new-age high tech. I get that vibe and its my favorite.

You check into class and you meet the instructors if they are out front just chilling and the juice bar (which closes a little early before I come or is it open and serving yet?) I am not sure but good selections I see written on the boards.
Im looking for a job, im glad to be a server and make drinks! About to send in my resume for any job available.

You go into the locker room with there are toilets and showers. You change put on your lock and get the show on the road. I put on my "exhale" grip socks and I strut.

There are three studios. Two spacious ones where I always pass other dance or ballet classes happening and then studio three where we work. A good size indeed. I like a class that is a little smaller so that more attention is put onto the students. PLUS.

The mats even say Nalini Method, what can be better than that. I know some places that do not even have mats to use or you gotta bring your own hehe. another plus.

So, I have had two classes so far. Tuesday and Thursday. Tuesday with Shannon. Thursday with Ida.

Tuesday with Shannon. Amazing.
Started off with Arms (totally shattered my arms in a good way), followed by a deserved stretch, then to the bar for burning and work those thighs work, then the glutes to have another good burn, and then abs to tie it all in. And must I say, the workout playlist from the IPOD is a great pusher. As soon as he said, sweat with BRITNEY. I started to laugh and do so with enthusiasm, I pushed harder. Then a relaxing relax at the end. Savasana to cool. I love him, which is why im scheduled for like another 2-3 classes with him again.

Then the next week, sore but what do you expect. Im sore from Exhale Core Fusion too, whenever I go to classes there. If it doesnt burn, it does not change you.

Thursday with Ida. Another rush from end of classes. A walk and I go inside and am greeted by Ida at the front, Shannon, and Rupa all together. It truly feels like your being welcomed into the Nalini Method Family. (Well im glad to be home :D) I love that inner warrior feeling you get after you finish class.

Anyway, she pushed it, its was a tough class. A lot more reps and burning. Quivering thighs and glutes. The same arms started, then thighs, glutes, and abs. My favorite part of the abs was the under the bar laying on the mat and doing control ab jumps, she will walk by and put her hand up and you gotta reach it! and I did. Such a good workout again :)

I love that both instructors give individual attention and comment on your good work, really motivating. You get a little massage during the resting child pose/ bunny pose at the end of the cool down on your back.

(I could describe that exact movements in detail but I never do...haha, I dont know why but sometimes I call them different names. I say potato you patata. Get it? I say ab jumps some ab lifts. So Id rather not get into it. :P )

And the gear used, my favorite color: blue. The ankle weights you put on during the thighs and could keep on during glutes. Loved it. The block you squeeze in on, makes things tougher but I would not have it any other way. The two different types of weights: Currently im using 4-5 or 3-4 in each. There are push up bars too, but next time I get them and really get into it.

This was an after class shot when im leaving but its a little too blurry.
There is Shannon and Rupa. Both are so amazing and kind.

All in all, Nalini Method is awesome. :) Even after the May pay what you can, I can see myself being a regular and paying my single class fee when I go. I dont know if there is memberships, maybe there are. (If there was, can you take student discounts?)

Next Time Ill definitely try to get more photos. :)

Check back with me in a few months, can you say addiction?

Turbo Fire On my Mind

Okay, I have not done a fitness lifestyle post in a while and I want to rant and rave about Turbo Fire. Its created by the ever energetic Chalene Johnson! It is an advanced and harder pushing Turbo Jam workout. New moves but you gotta love it. Kickboxing, dancing, and endurance training boost all in one.

Whenever I am doing the workouts including the HIIT programs, I get that fire seeping through my blood and it comes out in my eyes. Full Intensity!
I started this about 6 weeks ago, I have missed some workouts but then made up for them and currently I am on week 5, getting everything back on track. It sometimes hard to follow a schedule due to a mental battle, busy from day's work, and other things have to be done.

And I am definitely fighting this mental battle daily. I may have to start week 5 over. Its finals week in college land, you get the picture.

But anyway, ever since I started Turbo Fire, I have seen my core more toned, a wittling waist, and an increased endurance to do running intervals and jogging intervals with walking, on and off the treadmill.
My regular Cardio training on the spinning bike is better, 155%.

Chalene and the Turbo Firettes (I call them that) are really inspiring.

Beachbody has come out with some amazing workout systems by these real-life no-nonsense trainers and the results are real. You can not spot train, do it all or go home!

Fire, Turbo Fire!~

Turbo Fire baby!

So currently I have not discussed anything about my fitness and exercising routines recently, so I will give away to that now!

I am currently on Turbo Fire week 3 and it is INTENSE! But I love it currently on a 2 pound weight loss, the thing is I eat like a normally do which is between healthy and somewhat healthy foods in moderation. I hardly follow diets to the T because it is difficult and really not my style.

I love the cardio intensity and the well deserved stretches and the calories burned is amazing. It ranges from 200 cals for 15 minutes to 1100 for an hour! I have burned that many. Thanks to my purchase of the Garmin FR60 Womens heart rate monitor I can accurately track everything.

The punches and kicks it feels like a kickboxing/boxing/dance class!

Also im currently trying to ease in p90x with it at the same time. Before I got through a week but had to stop.

Wish me luck on this journey!

My Doing List...

I have realized that ever since a new year and new semester started that course work is a lot but I have to do and achieve success. I have been trying to manage everything and not slack off on my nutrition, fitness, and down time.

I have decided to have my do-list listed so I am always reminded that it is here:

-Try out running
-Enter a 5K
-Lose Weight
-Try out new restaurants (healthy entrees)
-Do more workouts
-The Gym has new classes every month (going to the gym more!)
-Update Blog more often
-Study harder than before
-Don't slack off
-Invest in a very good spinning bike
-Go back to Exhale core fusion classes
-Join flywheel sports and engage in spinning class (I dont know about soul cycle...)
-Try out Nalini Method
-Try out that Body Method place up by 60s.
-Try out Physique 57
-Do more guest passes at different gyms
-TACK ON TRX Suspension Training
-Join a study group
-Invest in a great heart rate monitor (Sportline ones are crap)
-Manage money & get deals on Ebay (like I am now)
-Spend more time at library.
-Start course works earlier than usual.
-Try out energy kitchen
-try that new chipotle & quinoa place
-Take more photos of my surroundings

There is so much to do but it is not impossible.
But Yeah I know you guys get the gist of it all. You do not have to stick to one idea or one place. Expand the horizons, try new things, and feel confident.

It is not easy but take it one step at a time.

Xtreme TimeSaver Training with Jackie Warner

I am a renegade for Jackie Warner fitness DVDs and her tv shows. The newest one being "Thintervention" makes me love her even more. She really does care and strive for you to do your best.

That why I had to order and try the new Xtreme TimeSaver Training which gives cardio pace and scultping strength training moves all in 30 minutes. It basically kicked my ass the first time.

Sure I have been doing Jari Love for some time, but this really kicked my ass making me want to work harder.

Jackie uses a combination of upper body + lower body, lower body+ core, and upper body + core combos for every move for 1 minute. Sometimes one side is 1 minute and the other is 1 minute as well.

I definitely see this as effective in the long run. At times I had to put down weights and go without it.

I burned about 200 calories ;) It was nice. I know that when I work and push through it harder, I can burned even more.

Jackie is a tough cookie, but she shares her cookies with you. Just be willing to work hard for it.

I can not wait for the extreme abs. :) Yum.

Turbo Jam DVD

I seriously love Turbo Jam though, I have done some of the workouts already, Learn & Burn, 20 minute workout, Turbo Sculpt, and Ab Jam yesterday, which gave my ab's a kick in the abs.

You really utilize the pelvic tuck and try to hold it as you go through these 11 elite moves and variations with reps. Now to the point that your core feels everything.

I really feel as If I will definitely get a wonderful cardio workout everyday with Chalene as she is very inspirational and a fireball of energy!

I heard and seen that she has done Turbo Kick before, which sellso n ebay for over 10 dollars as rares.

Chalene Johnson will definitely work you into shape. Next on my list to do is order Turbo Fire and experience an even more ultimate rewarding workout.

BTW, P90x Lean week 1 is done. Lean week 2 I'm going to start soon.

Hemalayaa 's Bollywood Booty workout DVD Review - Acacia Fitness

Another masterpiece of a dance routine was the Hemalayaa Bollywood booty. It reminded me of the show 'Shimmy' that comes on Fit Tv, back when I had verizon and had the privilege of having it for so many years, Thank you.

The dance routine consists of some gyrations, hip movements, arms raises, and truly feeling like a bollywood or bellydancer of some sort.

I did the routine for a 15 minutes just to test out by the hotel I was staying at. They had the Get Fit. Stay Fit program over LodgeNet, so I click and tried it for free. It is so wonderful and I definitely felt sensual, sexy, and working hard to whittle away the inches at the same time.

It does not come off as a workout but it sure does feel like it.

There is the full DVD workout to buy, which I gotta say, I am definitely going to pick up.

Plus Hemalayaa I realize has a lot of workout dvds so far. Next one of hers I want to try, is in the Fit in 5: Ultimate body blitz (greenish cover?), its her yoga inspired routine.

Next review shall be the Weight Loss Cardio Sculpt (when I finish the routine, haha!) and Weight Loss Cardio Kick then Qi Gong fire. Not sure if I am ready for Duncan Wong Source Power! Haha let me know.

Weight Loss Pilates with Kristin McGee -- Acacia Fitness DVD review

I always loved training with Kristin McGee in the past but have not done so in a while. I know Kristin from the MTV Yoga, Power Yoga, Pilates, and Pilates Mix exercise series that they had in the earlier 2000s.

If we all remember, MTV was a bit of a fitness and music powerhouse of those combinations, I remember countless days I would do The GRIND :The Hip Hop workout for twice a day because I loved it soooo much!

It first came out when I was a kid back in the 1990s & my mum would exercise with it and dance like its 1970 again.

Anyway, went off tangent and now back to the Acacia Fitness, which I love them so much for productions of all these wonderful DVDs and instructors.

The latest Kristin McGee ones are Body by Bethenny with the lovely Natural Foods Chef Bethenny Frankel and the Weight Loss Pilates DVD.

I was in the hotel room and I knew that you get free workouts on the On Demand menu for Acacia Get Fit. Stay Fit. & Exercise TV.

So I looked under Get Fit. Stay Fit. And tried this Weight Loss Pilates after I did Hemalayaa's Bollywood Booty (which Ill put up a review for later).

IT WAS INTENSE BUT GOODNESS. Like Core Fusion INTENSITY AND YOU FEEL THE RESULTS TO COME.

Your abs is the center of the body and controls of everything. So I believe it is important to train the core most of all. This program can.

It was a series of cardio movements starting to warm the body and then floor core work which is very very groundbreaking! Some of the pilates movements are definitely classics but some with a lovely strong twist to it. Then you do another round of cardio movements and then more floor work and then 1 of the routines of the DVD is done.

The whole program all in all is wonderful and Kristin McGee is a great instructor.

Once again, another success.

Dance and Be Fit: Lower Body Burn - Acacia Fitness DVD Review

This DVD is amazing, the lower body burn of Dance and Be Fit, you definitely feel it in your legs, buns, calves but at the same time you feel the abs and constant arms movements really add up.

You start doing some hip and arm warm-ups and then some fluid movements all around the whole DVD. You repeat the sequence from the top about 2-3 times for about 25 minutes.

It is so much fun and good for all levels of fitness. Beginners will have a just little trouble but then the second time around the sequence, you learn most of the movements.

There is a girl in the back that shows modifications which are very helpful for beginners and injured/rehabilitated folks. The host is great in instruction and her voice is soothing. You could probably dance yourself to relaxation.

All in all, another good Acacia Fitness DVD. I want to try the Dance and Be Fit: Brazil Body DVD next.

Later Days,

P90x Day 2 - Plyometrics

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

After you stretch when your done, your like yes, I did it!

It was not easy let me tell you, I had modify almost half of everything because I have a bad right knee.

TIP: In the beginning, go easy first because there are plenty of rounds coming up. And take advantage of the water breaks.

It was alot of fun movements, a wet t-shirt, 1 bottle of water and a half gulped down, twists, leaps, turns, and little arm movements but they all add up in a good way.

I believe my endurance will increase to this form of exercise since I hardly do any plyo, the only plyo like thing I do are jumpbacks and gap jumps.

I burned about 650 calories, not bad at all. I know some people burn more or less than I did but Im proud, because I never stopped the play button. Sure a bathroom break press pause, but I came back immediately to it and pushed hard.

The bonus workouts which are variations of basketball, baseball, and football is fun! :)

(Insanity right now, Id be dead and not typing!)

Tony Horton, youe created wonders.

(Bear with me, tmrw is double entendre : Shoulders & Arms, with Ab Ripper X (god help 0:) )

Have a lovely Day!

Zumba Rumba

Hi again folks, just did Zumba as I said I would and I did not stop it at all. I went through the basics and then to the beginning 20 minute express where I got alot of gyration, leg, and total body movement. You dance Salsa, Carribean rhythm, Reggaeton, Reggae, Merengue, and Calypso styles.

My heart rate definitely went up and never slowed down at all during all of it. I burned about 191 calories in just 20 minutes. :) I feel proud.

All you do in pop in the dvd and dance. Follow them and If you feel that your missing steps, slow down but still move and watch then pick it up again!

I look forward to doing more at Home Zumba and the full 45 minute class at my Lucille Roberts Gym (im a gold member, so I technically do not have 1 gym I solely go to! haha :P).

P90x Classic - Day 1

Well, I bought them finally, it was between Chalean Extreme or P90x, I have always wanted P90x so I bought it and they came today.

:D (303-320 cals burned today.)

I know your supposed to follow the diet book to the T, but my diet right now I believe is currently well and there is too many restrictions for me, no thanks.

I just finished Day 1 which was Chest and Back and then Ab Ripper X.

Oh boy, 1 hour and 15 minutes of total body work it feels like, some moves also drift into the legs but not so much.

It was extreme then afterwards I felt great, to get up ,move around , and do things.

I did not have a pull up bar so I did a resistance band or tube can be used shown in the dvd as a variation and you still feel the effects.

The different variation of pushups were killers but I did the best I could do.

Some of the push-ups were:

Standard pushups
Military Pushups
Decline pushups
Diamond pushups
Dive Bomber Pushups (which I had the lowesr reps for try 10 reps the first time then 7 reps oh god)

Then the rounds of pullups, yes feel the chest + back combo at its best.

But all in all, it was a great experience. That im looking forward to following day to day. (when im busy with school, ill manage to sneak in a few mins in the night (workouts are typically 55-59 mins, so my time would not be too bad)

To close this day, I would say....I should not have done Core Fusion arms workout before doing this... Haha, overworked my guns, :P but its a good sensation.

And now im off to try Zumba, Hip Hop Abs, orTurbo Jam thanks to my Aunt who is no longer using them, I got em. Well except for the Zumba Toning sticks, she liked them so she kept them! :(

Maybe later, Ill do Jari Love's get ripped, another good workout & a 2-miler with leslie sansone.

Just have to see how the day goes.

Tomorrow Day 2 is Plyometrics, my worst position, pray for me. :) <3

Walking at Home with Leslie Sansone

These past few days (more like 2 weeks) I have been sick and now in recovery mode from it. I do a random walk around my house. After eating some apples with graham crackers yesterday, I decided Mum has some good fitness dvds, why not look through her stash so I can try new things without a plateau.

I see that she is a big leslie sansone fan. She has about 5-6 of her dvds :) So I see this one: ..

I say okay so I took to my room and decided to do a 1-mile walk, and I succeed. It felt like another walk I would take outside but instead within the vicinity of my home. I felt empowered and awesome after it. Then today, I decided to do the 2-mile and I worked really hard.

Leslie Sansone I can say has gained another fan, she is amazing and inspirational. I ordered her 4-mile with weighted gloves, which has excellent reviews, and my mum wanted it. So ill share the pot 'o gold!

Tomorrow I do the 3-miler and then continue with it. Im going to put my skills to the test and try it at the park for a walk and see how much my walk/jog skills improve. Im looking forward to 2 upcoming 5k races... :)

Powa!
