The legendary Miyazaki ---- "iPad..wth.."

The Anime Legend Miyazaki who has helped to create & bring movies such as Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro & Spirited Away to ultimate stardom, has problems with the iPad. Well at least im not the only one.

But his reason is totally different. It is because he feels its bring a weird "public fondling" (on the basis of masturbation).

He said and I quote:
"For me, there is no feeling of admiration or no excitement whatsoever. "It's disgusting. On trains, the number of those people doing that strange masturbation-like gesture is multiplying."

=P
Haha, no matter what Miyazaki says, we still love him.

Viz Media "Inuyasha Promotion!"

Viz Media have made Inuyasha episodes and feature films available over at iTunes in the United States and Canada.

Until August 3rd, the movies are $4.99.
&
Seasons 1-7 Episodes are 0.99 (50% off each). Good news for first timers getting into the Inuyasha enterprise, the first episode ever is free. <3 (kyaah, *mauls*)

Good news for Hulu watchers, The Inuyasha: Touching Across Time will be subbed shown for free over Hulu. (Viz Media will also have access to it on their website)

I mean finally changes are happening to promote animes and mangas across for a world domination. Well, to lure new fans and entice old fans to continue. Money is not an object is their message (i guess)

Just realized the Differences. NYCC=SDCC

San Diego Comic con starts from Thursday with a preview on Wednesday.

While New York Comic con starts officially on Friday with a press preview on Thursday.

Hmmm, there are more celebrity appearances at SDCC than at NYCC.

But the good thing is there is a huge Artist Alley at NYCC & SDCC when I have went for the past 2 years, and you can get interviews and drawings of anything.
(Back in 2008 or 2009, I got Brian Kang to draw Swan from The Warriors (CONEY ISLANDDDD BABY!~Haha if anyone is in the cult following, you know what I mean.))

The greatest thing this year is the merge of NYAF and NYCC on a packed weekend. Get ready for hecticness and big bags of swag. Haha, and lots of interviews and one sleepless night during the middle of the weekend.

Well either way, Ill be taking a trip next summer to see SDCC for the weekend. :)
And every year is NYCC & NYAF for me.

Later days,
Kaye Beeh.

P.S. - (Ill post old photos I have from New York Anime Festival and New York Comic Con from last year...and the year before (have not gotten around to finding that cord..well I did. Expect some all this week)

Happy Bastille Day!

For anime fans, Ill keep it brief but I would like to celebrate this day anime/manga style by making Tamaki Suoh from Ouran High School Fandom and France from Axis Powers Hetalia fandom.

Today they both are our honorary Anime Bastille Mascots!

So eat macroons, drink tea, drink calpico, & read some manga. Its a scorcher.

Crunchyroll - The MAIN ATTACK FORCE!

I know we all love to watch dramas (when most were available on it) and anime episodes on Crunchyroll. Crunchy is no longer a word of mouth, its a dominating force!

They recently acuqired the rights to legally stream Bleach (which Dattebayo had been doing along with Naruto (they stopped when Viz decided to stream off their own site and Crunchy)).

I commend Dattebayo Fansubs and thank them for all these years of Japan in our homes as a way of escaping the environment around us. I know that for sure they will have more awesome project in store for the future.

But Crunchyroll is now the big shiner. Naruto, Bleach, Skip Beat, and others you can view....well the day after it just releases the same time in Japan, due to respect to Premium members who pay to get it all.

Congrats to Crunchyroll, Ive been with you guys since the beginning and Dattebayo from the beginning. Im looking forward to the future with you guys!
